I bhought a pair or good steady shoes the other day. I need some thermo pants and a good jacket. What apparel do you use?

Hmm I normally used thermo pants and underwear if I'm right, of course good shoes a good jacket resistant to rain and wind. A fleecefest is smart too and of course a normal shirt. And a cargo pants over your thermal pants and then you're quite ready .. maybe a hat or something similar since 70% of body heat is lost via the head.. Good luck!
